Women’s Intro to Golf Program 2025
Purpose: This program is designed to help women who are interested in picking up the game of golf feel ready to play by teaching them the fundamentals and gain experience on the course in a low stress environment.
What: 4 weeks of a 30-minute clinic/information session with PGA CANADA Teaching Professional Nick Surch covering some basic golf information and instruction. Topics will include:
Session #1: Focused on Grip, Set-up, and how to know which club you should be hitting.
Session #2: Focused Ball Position for different clubs and how you may set-up differently for longer clubs.
Session #3: Focused on the basics of Putting (Set-up, Speed Control, Aim).
Session #4: Focused on the basics of the Short Game (Set-up, Club Selection).
After the clinic play 3 to 6 holes of golf (with no other golfers behind the program).
Who: People who have played 0 – 10 times, or who have not played for some time and are interested in a refresher.
Please note this program is intended to provide a brief overview on how to get started or back into golf and offers the opportunity to get on the course for a few holes in a low-pressure setting.
Those with more golf experience and/or looking for longer clinic/lessons should consider our Intro to Golf Part 2 clinic program or semi-private lessons.
How Many: 24 women maximum broken into 3 groups of 8 for the clinic
When: Mondays with start times of 5:45, 6:15 & 6:45. The program will last 4 weeks.
Session #1 – Start Date Monday May 26th
If Session one sells out a second session starting July 7th will be added.
The Program Includes:
- Week one facility tour with our female volunteer mentors
- One Dozen Golf Balls & Tees
- 4 Weeks’s with 30-minute group clinic/information session (maximum 8) with PGA CANADA Teaching Professional Nick Surch
- After the Clinic play 3 – 6 holes of golf
- Voucher for future 9-hole round
Cost: $209 plus HST
Optional Rent to Own Program: Top Flite XL Ladies Set
Rental for 5 weeks (clubs will be taken home by the participant) – $149 plus hst.
Option to purchase at the end of the program for $250 plus hst.
